Chrono Trigger hits all the right nostalgic notes but FF has always been competitively scored. Had to go with the latter. Sorry, Marle. Page me, baby.

Final Fantasy by virtue of having more quality tracks.

Flow of life is simply gorgeous. Chills evrytym.




Anxious Heart is indomitable.



And Still more fighting is the GOAT FF boss battle music. Well unless you count Esper Battle from FFXII.



Undersea Palace and are To Far Away Times are simply classics though as are many others.

Underrated track by a country mile is Confusing Melody.

I prefer FF6 over both but have to go with Chrono Trigger here.

CT is aces, great tunes too, but FF7 was a spectacle at the time. I loved getting the Airship/Highwind, the theme and its feeling of liberation took the game to the next level


My fav tune from FF7 is the Shinra theme. I'm pretty sure they took it from the Running Man, or close to it.

I had not. Sounds interesting. Though they should avoid remixing songs that already have classic beats. Like Ante Up, there's no way to outdo the original.
