At this point who do you think has the better legacy right now, McGregor or Weidman? Both slew the GOATs of their divisions but have failed to match Anderson/Aldo's accomplishments as of yet.

Chris' best wins -

Anderson X2
Machida
Vitor
Maia
Munoz
Hall

Conor's best wins -

Aldo
Mendes
Poirier
young Holloway
Siver

Conor never lost his title, but also never defended it. Chris lost to the title after 3 defenses to the most beautiful of men, Luke Rockhard. Skillset wise the Chris seems more well rounded than Conor, but Conor's single strong dimension might be deadlier P4P than any one of Chris'.

Who is greater, Conor or Chris?

If we're going to say young Holloway then we should say old Anderson old Vitor and old Machida too. I would probably take Conor's resume because he was beating guys in their prime. It's pretty close though.

Well Conor headlined over Chris' last title fight...

Hows this even a debate. Weidman beat Silva 2x and full camps Machida and Vitor.

Conor's only "win" over a GOAT was a lucky punch against Aldo. The rest of those guys aren't GOATs. Weidman has a far better record defeating Silva, Belfort, Machida, Maia, etc. Conor wouldn't stand a chance against those guys.

Probably Conor because both of Weidman's wins over Silva were by complete accident

Silva was ranked #1 p4p, Machida was ranked #2 MW and Vitor was ranked #2 MW. They only became old after Weidman beat that ass.

What was Holloway ranked again?

Weidman beat Silva over about 15 minutes. Conor beat Aldo for 13 seconds.

15 minutes of ass beating is far less flukish than 13 seconds of ass beating.

Aldo was p4p 1 when Conor knocked him out and Mendes was #2.

15 minutes of ass beating proves you're a better fighter much more than 13 seconds of ass beating.

I was being facetious, I'm still salty about the leg break

Why do you point out that Max was young and not the fact Anderson/Lyoto/Vitor were old?

Ok and Weidman beat Silva twice, and Machida and Vitor had full camps.
And Mendes and Aldo weren't over 30. We could do this all day. I'll take the wins over the guys on the better side of 30. Both The Chris and Conor are good not great, it's splitting hairs.

What a stupid question. Who knows i doubt either of them have ever spent much time on a farm.

Chris: 3 defenses, took title from a guy with 11 defenses.
Conor: 0 defenses, took title from a guy with 9 defenses.

I'll let you do the math.

(Although, to be fair to Conor, 145 is one of the toughest divisions in the sport along with 155 and 170. Divisions above those are all lacking strength and depth.)
