This may be a silly post but this is it:

Today i took two pills of beta alanine and drunk a scoop of Cellucor BCAA, wich contains 1,6 grams of beta alanine and 2g of citrulline malate. In total i took maybe a lil bit more than four grams of beta alanine and 4g of citrulline malate.

It gave more paresthesia than i ever felt.

In the gym i was feeling like on steroids, squatting easily more than ever, benching with the same feeling...I was feeling energized like almost in a diferent mood or mind set.

Keep in mind im also suplementing with creatine, citruline malate, and i took a pill of caffeine.

But im very used to the caffeine, and specially today it was a low dosage.

So, anybody can relate to this experience?

It seems like creatine + beta alanine is THE SHIT!

felt really weird...

Have you ever taken pre-workout stuff before? If not, then that's probably why.

Just a basic 2 cups of milk makes a huge difference for me. I can't imagine the difference if I took actual pre-workout supplements made by good companies.

Beta-alanine's acute effects are fairly weak, especially compared to citruline malate or baking soda. It has a fairly extended loading phase before blood serum levels of carnosine significantly rise. Much like creatine i would expect a week bare minimum before you notice significant muscular endurance effects.

That said, the evidence for creatine/beta-alanine being a good long-term combo is pretty decent, and while there's no studies on a combination with citruline malate, i think it makes sense.

I remember first taking two scoops or Jack3d's original formula. Felt like I could beat up the whole damn gym. This was years ago and these days I rarely desire to ever train that hard again. My joints have some wear.

yeah, my point is beta alanine should provide better endurance but not any stimulant or similar psichoactive efect.

Beta alanine is not even sold like a product for focus or anything...they say its for endurance and i dont see how an aminoacid could give anybody a "buzz".

This is why i made the topic. I think i was distracted with the paresthesia, focused by the caffeine and amazed by the strenght and endurance from creatine and beta alanine.

Really a great combo: creatine+beta alanine+ cafeine + citrulline malate

i just hope my kidneys dont explode or anything like that...

Beta Alanine is supposed to have anti-anxiety effects and also regenerates BDNF or brain cells or whatever. If you google it you'll get the details. I don't know if that's what's giving you your superpowers, but it does have documented mental effects.

I get pretty noticeable effects from citrulline malate when I train. I can go harder and longer. Very noticeable.
