This is just one of those fights where the favorite is going to get beat. Rampage is a huge name & will obviously be a heavy favorite in this fight, but he's going to lose.

Rampage is getting older & older & he's clearly slowing down. M'Pumbu should be at MW already but this fight was too good to turn down.. Christian has good boxing skills & is much, MUCH faster than Jackson at this point..

I just don't think Rampage can do it.. M'Pumbu will soundly outstrike him

I think he has a pretty good chance, Page looked pretty bad in the Beltran fight despite getting the KO.

As bad as Rampage has looked recently I can't see M'Pumbu beating him. M'Pumbu has only fought twice in two years and lost both rights and looked bad doing it. However with Bellator's luck M'Pumbu will win a dull decision.

I thought he looked pretty good in the Attila Vegh fight.. Vegh is pretty good & M'Pumbu showed a lot of grit & almost mounted a comeback if I remember correctly. And as for Wiuff, the guy has to outweigh Christian by 50 pounds or so.. He cuts insane pounds to make 205 & from what I hear M'Pumbu walks around below 205..

I'll be back March 1st, 2014, to collect my new house.

I think M'Pumbu speed, striking ability, and power will be a factor but i think once Rampage learns that he'll use his strength and clinch M'Pumbu and take over from there. If Rampage wants to swing for the fences there is a good chance M'Pumbu can outstrike him. He'll be too weak for Page otherwise and Page will clinch and pick his spots to throw combos.

both body's have broken down
both slowed down
both are old

Rampage may be getting older, but he's still younger than M'Pumbu.

And even with slowing down and nagging injuries, it's not like Rampage is facing a world beater or top contender here. It's been nearly three years since M'Pumbu has looked impressive and he's barely fought since then.

Rampage is bigger and will land at some point, plus he's not exactly the easiest to KO. Christian is a solid striker but he isn't some crazy striker that's going to be able to avoid the bomb, he gets KO'd in the 2nd.

lol we acting like M'Pumbu is some spring chicken when hes old as shit and small for the weight class.

Rampage beats him pretty easily

Rampage is fighting an older, smaller, natural middleweight coming off two losses and a year long absence.

I'm going to go with Rampage on this one.

This, although I actually thought Rampage looked somewhat better than what he did in the UFC for the last 2-3 fights. I like M'Pumbu, but his last 2 fights have been pretty damn lackluster and he lost them both.

Rooting for Jackson and I believe he will take it, but you never know, like he said above, with Bellator's luck, Pumbu edging out a boring decision will not be that surprising.

He got completely dominated every round till the 5th where he managed his first string of decent offense, but I don't know if I would call it almost a come back. I was impressed by the fact that M'Pumpu survived through the fight despite being dropped 3(?) times and pummeled in every round but the 5th. I definitely think part of it is the weight advantage though, M'Pumbu should really be at 185. I Scored it 50-45 to Vegh, but there was one really questionable score if I remember right.

Id piss myself laughing if M'Pumbu beat Rampage and Zayats beats Lawal.

Next 205lb tournament would be Rampage vs. a mannequin and King Mo vs. a cardboard cut-out of Emanuel Newton, winners meet in the final.

Rampage may be over the hill, but the mountain he's on is a lot bigger than the ant hill mpumbu stands on.

Go ahead and bet your house on M'Pumbu. I will take Rampage.

Why do people say Rampage looked bad against Beltran? Beltran just held him against the fence for a bit and we all know that's his bread and butter. Rampage was throwing kicks for crying out loud! And who the hell KOs Joey Beltran??

Sorry but Rampage all the way, anyone standing and trading with him is in for an early night. Hos wrestling has dulled a lot but in a standing fight like this I think he will get the job done. Rampage 2ndrround KO. Still one of the biggest hitters in MMA.
