Bestbuy just called me to put me on hold about an order I purchased ???

WTF I ordered a new washing machine off my phone through Best Buy last week. And I'm at work and received a call just now. I have to take all calls in case it's the spinal surgeon.

A robot comes on saying it's best buy and they have very important information about my order, please stay on the line!

Then I'm put on hold with hold music and messages saying "We are experiencing a higher than normal call volume and you will be waiting for some time"

WTF

Seriously???

They call ME on my cell at work and expect me to hold for some time, with day time minutes?

I seriously can't get over the awfulness of this.

Don't call me unless you want to talk to me!!

I would like to complain to them but they may want to kick my dryer in

When someone calls and puts me on hold I just hang up, if it's important you call me like a normal person. Don't let them treat you like that @Clippy.

I have a cell phone that's only free after 6 PM or on weekends - other than that I have limited minutes

This is still a thing, I'm too cheap to afford anything else

I pay $35 a month for my phone

I have no data, just connect to whatever wifi, at my house, at work, at the coffee shop etc

Wow that's crazy. Even here in Texas you can pay $40 and have unlimited talk,data,etc.

If you didn't answer the phone they might have left a text or voice mail.
 
I can confirm that Canadian mobile plans are fucking garbage.
