Which year was the best?
97 don't @ me
DX, Hart Foundation, Stone Cold & Rock rise, nWo at its peak
HBK vs Undertaker HITC
Hart vs Austin
Mysterio vs Eddie
Easily my favorite year
In your house: Canadian stampede
Imagine if HBk was in it like he was suppose to be originally
Imagine if Bret never left and HBK never got hurt. Owen would still be alive too.
Was it wwf back then?
I am a 97 guy myself. 2000 was excellent and 2001 was awesome as well
None of dem bullshits
Oh yeah and to ts 97 u denigrator
1995 or 2020
97-99. Can't decide.
1998 by default since it's closer to 1997.
Both had the same average attendance...fuck I'm a Nash guy...did I just say that?
Anyway out of those three, has to be 2000. If it wasn't for Vince putting money into the xfl it would have been the biggest year in company history financially. Funny how Austin was gone for like ten months that year. Sigh as much as we all love Austin it's gotta be said : rock> austin
@Rebelfett you're right
$$$ is what matters, so 2000 > 99 > 98.
Probably 1998, but all were very good.
1998 for me. Pro wrestling was at it's coolest then.
2000. The roster was crazy stacked that year with Rock, HHH, Foley, Undertaker, Kane, and Austin later in the year at the top of the card, an amazing Mid card with Angle, Jericho, Benoit, Guerrero, Rikishi, etc. and an amazing tag team division; Hardyz, Dudleys, E&C, Too Cool, APA, and so on.
On top of that you had the perfect combination of unpredictable attitude era storylines with amazing wrestling to compliment it. That entire run from Royal Rumble 2000 - Wrestlemania 17 is wrestling perfection.
