Starting running consistently and it’s painfully obvious how much easier music makes doing cardio for extended periods of time.

I’m looking for something wireless but also noise cancelling because the gym is loud.
I have cauliflower ears as well but they fit earbuds, just not the ones which have an extra thing that circles the inside of the ear for extra stability.

Price is not a huge issue but the best bang for your buck that meets these requirements would be great.

Much thanks in advance

Jaybird x3 are rated the best wireless ear buds from my research. They retail for 159.99 here. I never tried them but heard they are the best bang for your buck.

I heard bose have bluetooth issues and cut out sometimes, might want to avoid.

Mpow on the other hand has the best selling wireless earbuds on amazon. I bought the mpow judge wireless magnetic earbuds. They retail for $30.

I find they are good. The sound quality is good enough and they dont cut out even when im riding my bike. They became the best seller for a reason I guess.

Thanks. Mpow or jaybird happen to be noise canceling?

Thanks dude. Looked into then jaybird and they are noise cancelling. I was about to say I can’t use them because of that thing right next to the earbuds which helps it stay in your ear, but apparently it’s detachable.

Ah cool. On Amazon the reviews for the jaybird x3 are only average, I think 3 1/2 stars.

However, I was reading a ton of wireless earbud reviews in articles online and the jaybird x3 was highly praised and I found most picked them as the top wireless earbuds.

Mpow is a budget brand but the products are still good. They have a noise cancelling pair called mpow enchanter bluetooth earbuds which are only $30 as well.

I tried the Jabra Elite 65t and Bose Soundsport free wireless buds. The Jabras fit the ear better and lock in good. The Bose sound better but are larger and don't seat as well. They have the tips you mentioned you can't use because of your ears. They have connection issues which the Jabras don't.

Jabra is 170. Active version is more water resistant and 190. Bose is 200.
Jabras are both water resistant. Bose not as much.

Neither are noise canceling. Sony makes the only noise canceling ones I think.

I run 5 days a week and lift weight 3 days a week. I've tried other ear buds and they've all ended up crapping out on me due to sweat. Yes, I'm a sweaty Italian, living in on the Gulf Coast... not a great combo.

I bought these about 15 months ago and they're still working as good as the day I bought them.

I got them on sale for $120, but it looks like they're back up to $150. I'd still buy them at that price.

Anyway, I actually paid more than that for all the cheaper ones because I had to keep replacing them every few months.

Don't get the ones with the heart rate monitor. It doesn't work that good and it'll give you warning when it's not reading your HR correctly. I had to turn it off. It also conflicts with the HR monitor on my watch. Also, that option is more expensive.

EDIT - As for as water resistance. I sweat a ton... And I've been caught in the severe rainstorms we get here more than once while out running and never had an issue with them.

I think the $200 brand mentioned above is the one with the HR monitor. Get the one without for $150. Seriously, you don't want the stupid thing chirping at you when the HR monitor loses connection. It's super irritating.

i heard jabras are pretty good...as an aside, i am actually finding my airpods to be pretty decent.

Didn't wireless ones explode in someone's ear recently?

I used wired iPod buds for the first time and the wire is too short to go from pocket to ear and still be able to move head and neck.
