I was lookin over a old thread i started about which other sites/forums visits and saw this post by Madmick

"I think this thread would probably be better if you asked which threads/posts people considered golden.

I've actually learned more useful info for actually planning my workouts in the here and now from places like Sherdog, Elitefts, J&P, Charlie Francis, and Power Development than I have from my books."

So what are some of the best threads/articles from Sherdog, T-Nation,Elitefts, etc. you guys have read? Anything interesting, S&P, stretching, conditioning, MMA specific, etc.

Most articles by Dan John and Alwyn Cosgrove...

The most recent article by Cressey about doing stupid suff in the gym was also notable of being a classic read

Another condescending and selfish article about really living life.

Sorry, not my cup of tea. Ironic to tell someone the should live their life the way they (the author) thinks and not the way the reader thinks, given the message of that article.

You're not your khakis.

Steve Jobs Speech

Similar message, but he talks based on his personal experience, not an idealized version of "life".

heh, never thought of it that way, but yeah, i see your point. i think its geared toward joe couch potato moreso than anyone else. i dont see the "go outside and do something with your life" attitude to be a condescending one, but a motivational one

I liked it

Not to hijack my own thread but i REALLY liked it. I will die before i ever work 40-50hrs a week for someone else. No offense to anyone here who does that, but to me it is crazy. Im not going to get started on this because i could ramble for an hour.

Anyone else got any good articles? I like the motivational stuf as well.

From the front page of my log:

If, by chance, you happen to be suffering from back/shoulder/hip pain, I suggest you get comfortable and read the links below. Hooked on phonics didn't work for me, but the Neanderthal No More program from T-Nation did. I have the whole program in a word doc. If you want it, PM me and I'll send it to you.
