Cormier is still a better wrestler than Jon Jones, by that logic gus is better than Jon as well because of him stuffing his takedowns....

To be fair, Gus avoided grappling with Jones more than anything by using his mobility and footwork. Cormier was straight up out wrestled. DC engaged Jones in grappling which is something Gus didn't do consistently at all against Jones.
