The streak that Cerrone is on is one of the most impressive in recent memory when the quality of opponents and the time frame in which it took place. If he loses to Khabib (which I think he will) he will have to start all over again trying to get a shot. If that happens this will be his streak. Evan Dunham- Not ranked but arguably top 15 and a solid win. Plus, he finished him. Adriano Martins- Again, not ranked but a solid fighter. He finished him within one round as well. Barboza- Again, not ranked but he is now and the way in which Cerrone beat him was very impressive. Jim Miller- Not ranked, but he should have been in my opinion. He was the first guy to finish him by strikes and he did it with gusto. Alvarez- Ranked #8 at the time. Myles Jury- Ranked #10 Benson Henderson- I know the decision was controversial but he was ranked #6 and Cerrone took the fight on crazy short notice. That's 7 wins with 4 finishes in 14 months with the last 2 being over ranked guys two weeks apart. If Cerrone loses, will this be the most impressive streak ever that wasn't rewarded with a title shot?
