I haven't seen this brought up in here before, but with all of this "Mayweathers toughest fight" business, I was wondering who you all thought had the greatest round against Mayweather in his 46 pro fights.
No stupid amateur or sparring matches(Paul Spadafora) allowed. Only his pro fights.

Right off the top of my head Im thinking Sugar Shane Round 2 of their fight.
Ill probably switch my answer but off the top, i think he buckled Floyd a couple times like no one has ever done before or since.

Sugar Shane hit Floyd better than I've seen anyone else get him that's for sure, the only time I remember Floyd properly rocked.

Shane did crack Floyd but by the end of the round, Floyd was taking over.

That round was a testament to Floyd's greatness.

Whatever round it was that he got hurt against Corley would be my pick. Or some round in the Augustus fight.

Castillo and Judah also each had excellent rounds against him.

legit knockdown for zab ruled as a slip.

    could've been mayweather's only 10-8 round

Everytime I see Shane hit Floyd I can only watch Oscar in the background losing his mind thinking "This is the Blueprint"

Round 8 was a pretty good round for Cotto against Mayweather. Mayweather seemed to be taking the round off and Cotto took advantage and did good work to the body and got lots of jabs onto Mayweathers face. I find this more impressive than Mosleys round against Mayweather because Mosley landed only 2 or 3 significant punches and controlled about 45 seconds of that round, while Cotto thoroughly outworked Mayweather and got through his defense.

Ill second this one for my choice too. Floyd had clearly got outboxed and outworked in this round. in the Chop chop round mayweather had come back to dominate the second half.

    Probably round 8 Cotto.

Floyd got lazy and found out how good Cotto's jab was, brilliant timing.

Mayweather still outjabbed him over the full fight though, which is a testament to Floyd's greatness.
