Best Resident Evil for PS2??

Just played Code Veronica.

I have to say, compared to RE 2 on PS1, it was pretty lacking.

What's the best RE title available on PS2??


PS - Couldn't actually finish Code Veronica. Ran out of amo for the boss at the end in the cargo plane.
Any easy way to defeat him?

Edit: Save up all of your explosive arrows (I think there's 30 of them up to that point) to easily beat the Tyrant on the cargo plane.

Got to say Code Veronica had the best knife in any RE but I did find ammo to be scarce.

I think I might have to start over and save up them exploding arrows to finish the game...

As just about everyone has said RE4 is the best one on PS2, probably the best one period. I did enjoy Code Veronica as well though so that one takes second place. I tried one of the outbreak games and didn't know wtf was going on, there were multiple characters at once and I don't know, I ended up just giving up on it.
