Shogun for Muay Thai? I like him, but I can't agree. I would say Cerrone, maybe Means. Someone who actually has a good clinch game and solid technique and fundamentals. Every time Shogun throws a punch, it looks... horrible lol

Agree with Cro Cop but not the rest. Maia isn't a great althlete like Jacare, so the everyman blue belt will have more use of watching Maia, since Maia overcomes strength with tech. Yair is nowhere close to Pettis. That's not to say he isn't good, but that his balance and distancing need work to make those kicks work better. Akiyama wasn't as decorated in Judo as Ronda or Lombard, but he was very good. He's been critiqued for not using that base and instead brawls one fight after another. You could say the same about Lombard to some extent, but he does both.
