In all seriousness, are you talking bjj? Submission grappling? Best in any grappling style? Most well rounded? What exactly are you asking? For example, Buvaisar Saitiev is undoubtedly one of the best grapplers of the last 20 years, but he is exclusively a wrestler. Would he count?

A work, in my opinion.

I just watched it. Butterbean could barely get his arm through the lock in the figure four. It looked so weird. His forearm was so short and his arm was so big. Butterbean is like the anti-grappler.

Strange match for sure.

Define the criteria of being a pure grappler. What skill set are you removing that you don't consider to be "pure".
