By the way, in his Judo days, he was considered a bit of a whiner/baby... I think after his battles in PRIDE, he's proved that he is tough as nails!

I have to say Karo as well. He has been in some battles and still seems to give it regarding heart. Akiyama right now looks to be the 'elite judo' in mma of judo. Bubbleboy picked him long ago. Kudos.
