    Hey guys,

I've been seeing a lot of discussion about higher end MMA gloves, but I'm interested in cheaper ones. I don't fight professionally and only plan to fight a bit and use them for some sparring. Any suggestions for gloves under 40? Thanks.

I've got 14 oz boxing gloves -- I'm looking more for things I can use for grappling as well.

Those Cageside's look legit for $30. Plus, with the Nov125 discount, you can save $3. Get some ankle supports with that.

So, $27+$7 shipping = $34. Probably the best deal you'll find on MMA gloves, unless you want to try the $10 CSI Hybrids, which have gotten decent reviews.

Yeah, I ordered a pair of red's. I'll finally get to test this CageSideMMA hype out. So far, Sherdog recommendations haven't failed me. PrimeTime, KOFG, and Renegade have all been good.

    Srsly ordering 3-4?

yea,why not?I have a few guys train self defence and stuff with me.All the money they pay me goes into a pot and gets use on gear, trips out and stuff. We went to UFC 120,they bought tickets to the show,I paid for us to get up there and for all meals during the day...

Nice. I would've snagged another pair, but I like to try out other brands.

well,I got Fairtexs and KO Shooto gloves. The Fairtexs were too expensive to order several pairs at the moment.I would have been all over getting loadsa pairs of the KO's,fantastic gloves but they only ran one batch I think,we also have Truth hybrids which a couple of my guys like but I hate tbh 'cos they are very hard hitting..

I have KOFG's boxing gloves and they're a deal at $40. A bit soft and unbreathable, but make for steady bag gloves.

Have you tried anything from PrimeTimeMMA? They have THE best leather quality I've seen in a glove--or a car for that matter. The padding is unique, and a little dense. Nonetheless, the quality of their glove has me pondering them for future investments.

nope, our gym has a variety of equipment, some cheap stuff from a UK company called 'Blitz' which does the job and the better gear is from KOFightgear,Fairtex,Cageside, some home made stuff(medicineballs) Truth(whom I would not recommend nowadays though)

Doh... The gloves are now up to $45 :(. I was going to snag another pair!

Cageside delivered fast (to give you an idea, Cageside took 4 days to ship and deliver from NC to AZ, but FightersMarket took ten days to ship from CA to AZ), and the gloves are quality material. The padding seems thin around the knuckle. The leather is quality, the coloring is full, and everything about the glove has a good feel to it. I just don't see these being sparring gloves, at least not this early on in my impressions.
