I'd say Cro Cop. He was in the military.

    Cro cop is up there....
    *Extensive Military background
    *Super flexible
    *Impressive amateur boxing background
    *Both world champion kickboxer
    And MMA champion
*pretty sure he holds the most records under thr zuffa banner too(most finishes, most first round finishes etc)

Maybe im partial to him cause im american, but i'd say stipe is the most proven HW athlete
    *national golden gloves qualifier
    *division 1 college baseball player
    *division 1 college wrestler
*two time defending UFC HW champ

Mitrione will obviously gets some american sports zeitgeist votes based on him having been able to make an NFL team....rightfully so though
He was one of those high school all americans IIRC and played big ten football on a scholarship

Lesnar's NFL measurables(performed at a bodyweight of 283 pounds no less) speak for themself
    *4.6 second 40 yard dash
    *10 foot standing broad jump
    *35 inch vertical
*30 bench press reps of 225 pounds
Add to that the fact he us a 2 time NCAA division 1 national wrestling champion and can do a shooting star press at almost 300 pounds....and pretty much have a good definition of what athleticism is all about

Of all MMA fighters, Cro-Cop is the most likely to have actually killed someone (albeit with a rifle or pistol).

Gotta remember that prime Cro-Cop was massively chemically assisted.

    Mirko is ex-anti terrorist force.

I'm biased as a fan but these statements really annoy me. He was actually smaller in Pride. Also, it just so happend that he was younger when he fought in Pride, and as a convenient side effect of being a young fighter in his career's prime-he was fast and angile.

Cro Cop was also freakishly and deceptively strong. Fedor had by far (still) the best hips in all of HW MMA history.

But in terms of pure (general) athletic ability, no one is better than Lesnar. No one matches that combination of size/strength/quickness/agility.
