I've always wanted to try Indian food but I don't know of any good places. The one place my cousin told me was real good was right near my job. Literally the week I'm going to head there for lunch I get told by my company they are moving me over 30 miles away from it. Which was great because it removed an hour from my commute to\from work but I missed out on a great chance to try it.

Im just going to google some places and go to the best reviewed place in my area.

Ughh, Indian food is the only ethnic food that I can't be bothered with. The cury overpowers everything so it all tastes the same.

Thai food would be my pick, the widest variety of flavors, spices and textures.

You realize “curry” or what I assume you mean “curry powder” isn’t a real thing in Indian food, right?

    Find a better Indian restaurant.

I like Thai the best, but cant get decent Thai locally.

Even the Thai restaurants run by Thais here aren't good.

All I can conclude is that Kiwis have a shit palette and restaurants have to cater to that. We are a British colony I guess.

Tough to pick just one best food, but this is up there:

Schweinshaxe traditional in southern Germany. Roast ham hock (with crispy skin) served with Kloesse (sticky potato dumpling) and sauerkraut. Goes great with a pint of Hefeweizen. It's hard to find the real deal in the U.S. Closest thing here is southern ham hocks and greens but the German version is even better. Getting hungry just thinking about it.

The correct answer is indian and/or chinese.

If you answer thai, you're a boring suburbanite.

Best food in the world is fresh high quality ingredients you cook yourself.

My grandma lives in the mountains, she has a garden where she grows vegetables and she has neighbours who raises pigs for self-consumption. When I tried the food, very simply prepared, always blows me away how appetizing they are. Most importantly, can easily picture.myself eating on a regular basis.
