Best examples of Sportsmanship in MMA?

When Palhares decided he didn't want to hurt Dan Miller any more and stopped the fight. Great guy.

Lyoto Machida stops fighting after Munoz is out from the headkick.

BJ Penn keeping GSP's fragile emotional state intact by not forcing him to murder a smaller man. Staying on the stool was an act of mercy from BJ.

Jones going to get some fans

Rich Franklin telling his home crowd not to boo Anderson, who had just crushed him.

Can't believe nobody mentioned it.

Almost teared up. Such a display of respect and admiration.

Every once in awhile, MMA fighters show true sportsmanship in fights. I'm not talking about the bro hugs and high fives at the end of rounds, but actual moments where humanity takes higher precedence than fight results. Some of the better examples imo:

-Stann stopping his beating on Sakara way before the ref jumped in.

-Hunt with his walk off KOs and not doing the Hendo follow up GNP on a koed fighter.

-Cormier pulling his punches vs short notice Anderson Silva.

-RDA injuring his own foot and pulling out of the McGregor fight to avoid destroying the UFC's cash cow (and the bad publicity that would come from a popular fighter like McGregor being the first man killed in the octagon).

Are there any examples of MMA sportsmanship that top these?

See answers in BOLD

-Stann stopping his beating on Sakara way before the ref jumped in.
The ref was actually on his way in to stop the fight and was waving, which Stann saw out of the corner of his eye...he just was far away and had to close the distance

-Hunt with his walk off KOs and not doing the Hendo follow up GNP on a koed fighter.
Hendo is quicker than Hunt...Hunt is tired after throwing a big punch is thinking about dinner or fools on counterstrike PC game

-Cormier pulling his punches vs short notice Anderson Silva.
Cormier was gassed

-RDA injuring his own foot and pulling out of the McGregor fight to avoid destroying the UFC's cash cow (and the bad publicity that would come from a popular fighter like McGregor being the first man killed in the octagon).
RDA would have got Eddie Alvarezed against McGoat

Big Hunt fan, but I really don't think his walk-offs are as much to do with sportsmanship as much as looking totally fucking bad ass.
