Best Current Actor...

Based on films from the past couple decades or so, who do you think is the most talented actor working right now...

My list has names like Daniel Day Lewis, Gary Oldman, Russel Crowe, Jack Nicholson, Christian Bale,....
Damn so many more, but Day Lewis and Bale are probably amongst my favourite current actors based on their method acting skills. Those guys can really get into their roles like few others.

When Christian Bale is on the screen all I can see is different scenes from American Psycho, but he is in some good movies.

I have always found Edward Norton to be pretty reliable overall, and seemingly underrated. I think you got everyone else.

American Psycho, Machinist, TDK Trilogy, 3:10 to Yuma, The Fighter, American Hustle, Out of the Furnace.

Leo, DDL, Hardy etc are amazing also. I rather enjoy JGL as well.

His performance in Stolkers Dracula is one of my favorite performances of his.

Russell Crowe lulz

Crowe when he wants to be is a great actor....id put him on the save level as Denzel i suppose...both have made some excellent flicks, but have also made some questionable ones. However, both have been in roles that outshine many other others.

Denzel in Malcolm X was nothing short of brilliant, as was Crowe in a Beautiful Mind.
