all I see here is that these two guys have basically played the same role over and over, they are very good at it tho, while Tom hanks has more diversity, I feel like in every movie hes in, you never forget that its tom hanks...if that makes sense

+1. The last few of his movies were absolute shit and his acting was just plain awful. I don't know how I got through The Intern, absolute garbage movie propagating feminist agenda.

Nicholson really reminded me what he was capable of in The Departed. A master at expressing things most actors struggle with.

I would disagree. He has taken incredibly diverse roles in numerous movies. He is no longer putting out brilliant films like Raging Bull and Taxi Driver, but he has managed to stick around and remain somewhat relevant for a long time.

I would say Jack Nicholson is a close second, but he has not been in a movie for quite some time.

Nicholson and Deniro are in some great movie but they're not on the same level as Hanks and Denzel. Leo seriously?
