That was very nice of them. Glad things turned out well for the guy.
Now that I think about it, you are right. The guy clearly developed Hodgkinson’s Disease and racked up $120k in medical debt just to help Bernie. Is Trump claiming he's going to commit suicide in some big dramatic scene to help a candidate he supports? I guarantee this does not look like it does on the surface. I'd like to see his record, why he let his benefits lapse and so on. What else is Bernie or anyone else going to say? Go kill yourself? Pfft.

How could I be such a gullible rube?
If he has cancer, that's why he wants to commit suicide. If that's legit and not just drama for attention. Not his debt.
And again, I want to see what exactly he did in the military any why his benefits lapsed. You know that? Do you think if he was a combat vet who served years and years that we would know this?
Tri-care updated their systems and kicked him off in the process. Tri-care makes the VA look like a well oiled machine.
Imagine what a clown I feel like for paying off my student debt, worrying about missing payments, scared of that debt hanging over my head. Should have just not paid, like every other asshole. That’s the idea.
these SJW tards with their college debt can piss off. They can pay it back.
medical debt on the other hand, would be sweet if the government paid it off for everyone. Nobody asks for cancer. Nobody willing signs up for Parkinson’s.
This story was from a while back, but here is an update (second video) with a happy ending.
After the first video went viral, all those mean, nasty Bernie supporters chipped in and paid off this veteran's crushing medical debt.
That’s the idea.

My dad is a vet (honorably discharged) and was turned down from the VA because he made too much money.
Are you sure it isn't because of the dishonorable discharge? I've got a friend that pays a fee; but it's still cheaper than going to a family physician, he makes around 65k/yr.
Are you suggesting that I'm mistaken about my father being honorably discharged?
My bad; didn't have my glasses on and read that as your dad had a dishonorable discharge. I thought that seemed weird to mention considering the rest of the post.
So your dad can't see a VA doc at all?
I don't know about "at all", but I know he tried to for one specific condition and was turned down because his income was too high after leaving the military.
Who knew all we needed for more freedom was more legislationWell if your goal is to elect someone who will make you feel better, then vote Bernie. I just hope you don’t also want someone with a prayer of actually getting any legislation passed.

Yes yes, I'm a big supporter of whateverism
There are two kinds of freedoms, negative and positive.
There are two kinds of freedoms, negative and positive.
Negative freedom is when no one is stopping you from doing something.
Positive freedom is when you actually have the ability and opportunity to do something.
“Socialism” (in the context of Bernie Sanders) is a smear people use to avoid that conversation.
