Opinion Bernie: Socialism 'robs people of their independence'

Brah I don’t want to say TDS cause I actually you’re alrigt but you’re going pretty close into TDS territory. This isn’t even about Trump. We’re talking here about a self made man

Warning anectdote: I arrived in Louisville, Ky with only the clothes on my back. Absolutely nothing in my pocket. 22 years later my family is full of doctors and owns many properties. Not everyone needs a rich dad to make it. If an immigrant who didn’t know English did it, what’s the excuse? Also no I didn’t have boots

Did I say anything about Trump? This is why I clown on you goofs so much, because every time you get uncomfortable, it's TDS. You can't even look at the point that's being made because YOU'RE so up Trump's ass that any *tangential* attack on Il Douche is worthy of condemnation.

Tell me something, if Capitalism is the end all be all, why are there so many capitalist third world countries? Should they not be ascending up the class ladder by virtue of economics? I mean, it's easy right? Newsflash, the world isn't a just place. You don't just get things because you work hard, there's a whole lot of random chance that plays into it. If work was directly correlated with success, then the poor people would be the rich people, because I know people that are breaking their backs for 80 hours a week just to live.

The US didn't get to how it is because of Capitalism, it got to where it is by being the last man standing while everyone else was either bombed to shit or singing Be Glorious, our free Motherland to a portrait of Stalin. This is why American exceptionalism is such a dumb concept, because the moment a motherfucker gets a good break, he thinks he did it all himself. This is exactly what the Obama "You didn't build that" quote was all about.

He was broke as joke before applying a simple idea and prospering from it. I’d hesitate to say any other country in the world would be able to supply a random citizen with that opportunity

I know they won’t ever understand, but outside of this place I’ve spoken to quite a few lost souls walking around with hammer and sickle flags and I’d like to believe I left them thinking about what they are holding and we’re saying

So million dollar ideas are easy to come by and if you don't benefit from one you are just lazy and stupid? You use his rags to riches as an easily attainable example that the majority of americans should be able to replicate.

Why haven't you replicated it? Are you stupid? Lazy?

I’d say the opportunity is there to be taken advantage of. You don’t have to be a millionaire or billionaire to be successful

The peasants at least violently revolted all the damn time.

Nobody does anything anymore.

I give the French credit, they break shit when it's fucked up.

We think revolts are just too spicy. Also we live in a police state as enemy combatants, but that's an aside.

Give your crops to the lord so he can dole it out and give you protection. Definitely free market capitalism.

Why are you specifying free market capitalism? When you were parsing that out, did you realize that it's the precursor to corporatism?

I’m sure that parents give you millions comment wasn't throwing “shade” as the kids say at a certain person you hate huh? Subtle as always, don’t play it off brah, cmon I even gave you a compliment

Capatalims isn’t the end all be all and it isn’t perfect but it’s the best this country and the world has seen yet

The issue is when you confuse welfare with socialism.

How exactly does socialism prevent someone from being NOT becoming a millionaire, as you say.

Again, for who?

Less than 1% of the worldwide population has in excess of 32% of the wealth...and that's amazing (the best ever) to you?

Hmm.

You are asking how it doesn’t allow people to become millionaires/billionaires right? At its core it’s supposed to cut the rigging of a system that favors the few for the whole. Then the human aspect comes into play and it’s definition of “equality” is skewed. In true socialism you are forced by violence or need into a job. There’s nothing to work for and you are worth nothing. The superiors are the only people benefiting from the “equality” aspect as they become billionaires and millionaires from your back and work

Hmm.

If I accept your pretty graph I would also have to accept that wealth is somehow controlled by a large group who is forcibly taking my and your piece of the pie and not allowing for us to prosper. Luckily wealth is constantly shifting due to personal choices. Sure I’d like for the government to become more capitalist and allow for free and voluntary trade and cut regulations, but there are more and more people becoming wealthy everyday.....is that a bad thing?

If your answer is something like redistribution, then me and you lose

Dont forget to get your shots though.

For the children

(And your individuality)

These are the people we should be emulating and admiring. Not loser-whisperers like Bernie Sanders.

Wealth and prosperity...for who?

Of course he's going to love capitalism, he's rich. I'm sure the lords loved Feudalism too.
Typical retarded leftist logic.

Lords in feudalism were given their wealth and status.

I find it often confused with to the definition of charity

Socialism is a government planned economy.

Welfare is a market economy that uses taxes to redistribute resources.

Let me guess, they earned it?

I just came to punish you for your idiotic analogy. Your logic amounts to, "Winners like capitalism because they won". Yeah, well, so wouldn't losers not like it because they lost? In either case they were allowed to play.

Feudalism doesn't allow that. The only opportunity comes when there is no lineage. Otherwise, the son of the last Lord won by virtue of being born.

I said that because in your first comment that I replied to you equated feudalism to capitalism.

Oh Mick, you're far too limp to be doing any punishing of me.

That you see capitalism as being so benevolent belies your naivety on the subject. Which honestly is kind of sad given your account date. I don't see benevolence when capital actively punishes us for not committing to the game exactly how we're supposed to. Meanwhile that existing capital serves only to grow itself on the back of the working class, disproportionate of any benefit that it generates for that class.

What a fucking joke. The gimmick is that wealth isn't a finite resource, the catch is that it's not only on long terms. It's like a fire hose, the flow can only flow so much. Capture enough of it and it builds itself. Sell that shit to someone else.

<DisgustingHHH>

Get it, mark?
