Dinesh was one of the guys I used to read regularly as a young conservative.

Over the past few years I was thinking "has he always been this nuts and I didn't see it or did he go nuts?"

My suspicion is that Biden will have a “Trump effect” on the primary. What I mean is, during the GE Trump was behind in nearly every poll; but that was due to the stigma of being a Trump supporter imo. I don’t think all the people who supported him were comfortable saying so, lest he lose and they be the target of progressive slander (an elitism which they’ve experienced already in the form of derogatory terms like “flyover state”).

I think the same could be true for Biden. He’s ahead in the polls, but there’s an aversion to saying you’re pro Biden. He comes with baggage. He’s the uncool candidate, so he gets less lip serviced by the vocal minority. But my suspicion is that the party, and it’s constituents, will back him more heavily than the polls are indicating. I think the “return to normal” vote will come out strong. I think people long for 4 years of anything but all of this shit.

In his defence he is generally not a hack but when jack encourages him he can become one. Also, I think anybody would agree that Bernie’s treatment by the MSM is gross.
