Scary that he considers himself a good person while indirectly blaming me for my own mother dying. I wish I could describe through words how it felt to get a letter saying your mother was approved for a cancer test 2 weeks after she has been diagnosed with terminal cancer.

I am only assessing him by his own standards. I will post more when I am done with my commute. He said only people that would vote for Bernie are failures. He then defined failures as people who cant make it in capitalism. I assume this definition includes people who cant provide for lifesaving medical treatment.

I dont think he is a failure. I think its a sad story. Perhaps he should reconsider his definition of failure.

My mom died because she was scheduled for a colonoscopy but the waiting list was several years long as we have a socialized health care system and many people that didn't need the same tests were ahead of her.

Funny thing was we received 3 letters confirming an appointment for a colonoscopy in the months after she was diagnosed with terminal cancer. I'm sure you can imagine how fun it was reading a letter saying she could have that test only a week after we were told she had 6 months to live. Wish she made it those 6 months.

Don't mind you making fun of her. I have a thick skin. Just don't claim the moral high ground if you do.

Your mom died because she had terminal cancer not because she didn't get a colonoscopy in time. Colonoscopy are used to diagnose not to cure.

patients with terminal cancer usually die within the year and the cancer usually metastasis to other organs. Sorry to hear that she died but it wasn't a single payer healthcare issue

Patients in critical condition usually go to ER or urgent care and get immediate treatment including procedures like colonoscopy. Don't shift blame here it's intellectually dishonest

Sorry to hear about your mother. As someone who lost both of my parents to cancer, I sympathize.
That's almost an unbelievable story.
However, you've blanket tossed out insults to Bernie supporters, but are then getting pissy when an insult comes your way, and are now dodging based on getting your feelings hurt.
