The admin team will continue to work on existing issues, templates and upgrade all necessary available addons to minimize impact of this new version.

Bernard Hopkins to fight Tavoris Cloud on March 9.

Props to BHOP for taking tough fights. One of my favorite fighters, and I hope he beats Cloud.

I can see him winning, as Cloud take breaks during fights, and kind of plays into his opponents hands. That is exactly what BHOP brings out in people.

Can you tell me more about Clouds style? Havent watched him fight, what are his strengths coming into this fight?

I have seen him fight 3-4 times or so, don't remember them all that well. He was kind of slow, but powerful and could throw combinations when he wanted to.

But in those fights, he didn't do more than what he "had to do", and even then, I remember at least one of them being very close and most thought it should have gone the other way.

I feel he squares up too much and has bad footwork.

But like I said, I have not seen him in a year or two, and my memory of him is a bit hazy. I did not think he would be a dominant champ, and that a world class dude would wreck him, so I did not invest too much of my memory.

Please B-hop, retire so that we can all see you in one piece. You've proven your point already.

Thx for the info, I find guys who are successful against B Hop are those who bring relentless pressure and stay in their own game plan as opposed to fighting B Hop, another thing is their mental strength, you have to be mentally focused against B Hop.

Dont think the rules that apply to everyone else apply to B Hop, hes fought a smart fight his entire life and is both Mentally and physically sound.

While yes, B-hop is a case of how technicality and dedication to a craft can carry one into old years, i seriously want him to retire because at his advanced age there's really nothing left to prove. He had won championship and beat the best in his division. Why carry on fighting to further? He might fighting out of love of his craft, it is still damaging to his body nonetheless.

Well eventually his body will give him the signs that he needs to retire and until then I dont see any reason as to why he should discontinue, if hes doing what he loves and is making a fair bit of money then why not? He has, for years, avoided the life of a typical championship boxer and treats his body like a temple in order to prolong his career, due to that i feel he can go out on his own terms (save being severely injured ofcourse) These are the years he sacrificed for.

Of course, but still from a fan's perspective it is more or less the time for him to hang up the gloves and maybe start to train the next generation of fighters. We need fighters like him for the next decade or so, not some iron-chinned brawler or muscle-bounded left hooker.

If i remember correctly I dont think B Hop was interested in teaching.

Every washed up fighter wants to fight at Barclays.

Seano, stay out, we know you dont like B hop.

Cloud fits the description of a Hopkins opponent. Looked terrible in his last fight, hasn't fought in what , a couple of years?

I hope Cloud knocks Hopkins cold. Marquez style.

Hopkins will win this fight rather easily...

That Campillo fight was so horrendous. This is a tailor made opponent for Hopkins, when he beats him he's going to brag about how he beat a 'young, hungry champion', even though Cloud is so limited.

Fuck. I can hear the ATG conversation already.

Cloud is dangerous but rusty and very limited I have seen him outboxed many a times; what carries him is his power and explosiveness, Hopkins has been hit more in recent years and if cloud can land he will hurt Bhop.

That being said cloud isnt very polished and I doubt he has the skills to beat someone who really knows boxing and isnt going to give him the opp he needs to do the damage to win. Hopkins wont get too aggressive...won't fight clouds fight...and wont gas or lose focus; it will be interesting, but a clear win for Bernard.

And cloud is a young lion and a champ, someone every other name light hw has avoided; props to Hopkins for taking the fight.

I'm not so sure. He got dropped twice against Pascal and didn't seem unhittable against Dawson.

Cloud, for all of his faults, is a decent inside fighter.
