Beneil Dariush vs Charles Oliveira - Who wins?

IMO Benny is getting shit on.
hopefully winner = title shot in contract next fight
FFS Benny D deserves it

less avenues for chuck olives to win. favoring Benny
Benny by dec or tko gnp later in fight likely
 
Both are all offence fighters. Neither have airtight defence. Should be really exciting. I lean Oliveira because he is a better technical striker but Dariush’s unorthodox striking and power can definitely hurt Oliveira. Both have amazing jujitsu too.
 
Damn good fight.

We don't know where mentally Charles is and he will fight dangerous fighter in Dariush.
On the other hand for Gamrot Beneil was very winnable fight but he fought like an idiot without gameplan (he admitted that later) and Dariush took advantage so he is very capable.

As for now I would say 60/40 Benny.

Yea I think it’s anyone’s fight. Dariush (probably) won’t hesitate to go into CO’s guard and he won’t be doomed if Charles happens to get an advantageous position. They both get hit standing and have shown good power. Could easily become a war that either could win.

Gotta agree here. But then Benny is more consistent. Olives can look like the best in the world or like a gatekeeper, and he's fresh off a loss in the highest profile fight he's ever been in, so hard to be very confident in Chuck for this one.

Hate the fight. Huge Charles fan, and think he has the advantage in skillset and physical attributes. I can't root for Benny to lose his overdue shitle tot though.

Gamrot is just salty, he couldn't take Beneil down and got battered on the feet. Gamrot didn't have a gameplan to fight someone who's better than him everywhere unfortunately.

yes great interview... just watched it via youtube rec before seeing this post today.

Clearly Benny should just wait for this Volk/Islam fight to play out, which is about to happen, and fight the winner. There is no reason to rematch the fight regardless of who wins. Why would Benny or the UFC do anything else?
 
Slightly favor dariush because his defense is slightly better than charles and his wrestling is better.

I think it's a very dangerous fight that could go either way though. I will root for charles.
