Cerrone???
WHY?

Gillespie only lost one fight so he's still very much a valid challenge but Cerrone is on a 4 fight losing streak! Why would anyone want that? Is Cerrone a "money fight" all of a sudden? Even if so, it's a poor choice.

Lol I guessed something was happening with Cerrone and Dariush because their LW rankings both moved up one spot this week, even though no other ranked LWs fought since the last update. UFC's gotta market!

Cerrone is 0-4 in his last 4, knocked out in 3 of those. Still he goes up in ranks!

I voted for the Gillespie fight. That’s a good one, tough fight for Gillespie though. I think Dariush takes that.

I just don’t take the UFC rankings seriously in any way. So, I guess it’s now all about the most money for the least risk. But, calling out Cerrone is just sad at this point, imo.

He is a pretty big name.

Gillespie is more interesting. He will fear Dariush's ground game and try to tire him by grinding, but Dariush has a good clinch and knees, and better standup. If Gillespie wants to win, he will need to take Dariush down and risk getting submitted, because it would be his best chance once his ground control is very good.

Dariush by unanimous decision.

Dariush is a real threat in this division. Dark horse contender who has really come into his own. 4 straight wins, in his prime, and can strike as well as grapple. I don't hold the KO losses to Hernandez and Barboza against him. Hernandez's win is proving to be more fluky by the moment, and anyone can get caught. No one would have stayed conscious from that knee he took from Barboza.

I'm tired of seeing Cerrone fight. You can almost predict the outcome of his fights based on who he is fighting.

Plus Gillespie needs to get back at it after his loss to Lee. I still think he's a guy to watch in the division. He's 33. Needs to get moving or age will catch up to him.

My general interest in Cerrone has somewhat faded. At this point I’d only really like to see him in fun matches like pettis. IMO Gillespie and dariush are both very “game” guys. That would be a real tough fight and would be a fantastic part of a main card. I think they’d really push each other. Based on the video seems like dariush is on the same page.

On a side note those are weak call outs no disrespect
