UFC (and sherdog.. With help from UFC posters) have succeeded in making Conor the big attraction. I'm looking forward to it as well. But talent wise, Cerrone v Bendo is the superior fight. Is there really any doubt about it?

it's the only good fight of the night. the other fights are meh, and conor/dennis is purposely a gimme for conor against a decently big name that's no longer truly relevant.

I'm happy the UFC has made a star out of a smaller fighter, they really needed to prove they could do it, and they fkn did. Their stock goes up from that.. They have sucked at it for years. They still make it obvious and forced, but maybe after they get better at making young stars it will come more smoothly. But it's great for the sport and the continued success of the UFC that this is working out a bit.

But Cerrone coming off his last year is probably actually underrated right now, and the winner of that fight could be right there for a title shot too. It's the better fight as well.

I actually think Siver V McGregor will be a better scrap. Think both will be good though. Always really looking forward to Ron Stallings vs. Urijah Hall. Would be a huge upset if Stallings pulls off the upset and I kind of want to see it happen.

this dawned on me as cerrone mentioned that if he gets the belt there will be no one else to send at him as he will have likely defeated most of the top contenders. He really has Bodied most of the competition already as the gatekeeper of his division.

Was totally necessary, but you're right... WAY too forced.

I'm kinda pulling for him too. Benson has already been at the top of the mountain and had good success.

However, as often as cowboy is willing to fight as long as he doesn't sustain consecutive loses he should remain near the top.
