Bendo beats Maynard 9/10 times

Bendo's not really a finisher, while even if they're getting outclassed his opponent has 5 rounds to finish him.

Besides this is all just opinion, what actually happens in a fight is different to what fans think will happen.

Miller looked better than ever against Lauzon. He wants to fight 4 times per year and seems to be improving. Maynard might get around to fighting once per year and looked like shit against Guida. Miller would be way more competitive against Maynard this time around.

You're right, he's not really a finisher.

He would just dominate Maynard once the fight hit the championship rounds.
 
I think Maynard would give him a hard time but i actually see Benson sneaking in a guillotine choke, you never know.

You're an idiot, bendo lost both fights and if there wasn't a big pool of blood from the one up kick most people wouldn't have been so blind to how Frankie was getting the best of the striking.

Get a fucking clue. Bendo destroyed Franke in their first fight and made it competitive in the second fight. Frankie is a joke of a fighter at 155 who soundly lost to BJ the first time around and should have never been champion.

Looked like shit against Guida? Everybody would have looked like shit against Guida in that fight, Greg Jackson told him to run and bounce for 25 minutes and that's all Giuda did. Maynard did all he can to hit him but its hard to hit someone who's running away and never engaging. Maynard should have won that fight 50-0.
 
Maynard is not boring and he has a chance to beat Bendo

Must be why Frankie out landed him according to compustrike and landed multiple take downs, but who cares, he was bleeding rite bro? I love bj to but you need to stop hating everyone that beats him because he's past his hay day.
 
Maynard is the only other guy that has a chance to beat Bendo other than Pettis. Forget Melendez, he will get tooled by Bendo, Pettis, Maynard and Edgar if he comes back to LW.

Maynard has looked better than ever too(that Guida fight means nothing, Miller would have looked worse). His boxing has become that much sharper while his TDD is still much much better than Miller's TDs.

Beating Lauzon is a good win but Miller still needs a better win to show he would do better against Maynard in a rematch. Maynard wouldve made Lauzon look worse.
 
If I had to make a list of people that could possibly beat Benson Henderson.

1. Jose Aldo
2. Grey Maynard
3. Anthony Pettis (because he already did)
4. Frankie Edgar (because he already did, fuck judges)
5. Gilbert Melendez
 
Id definitely root for Bendo, but Maynard might be a nightmare matchup for him.

Very well possible that Maynard cant handle his aggressive grappling if he lands on his back. Or maybe Bendo catches him when Maynard tries to scramble. But Bendo would have a hard time to get it to the ground and he has a tendency to get clocked standing. Against Maynard thats not a wise move.

I dont think Bendo can defend his belt against Pettis/Cerrone, though.
