When they are doing WMMA headliners and kicking Reem to an undercard to showcase Phil Brooks - Es normal.
You do know Punk is solely a cash cow for the UFC, right, and that they're using him to sell PPVs, not showcase him as a fighter? If anything, it would be more of an insult to put him on the free undercard, because then there'd be no excuse to have him on the show at all.
As for Benavidez, he should be happy he's even still with the UFC. Dominant but boring fighter with no personality and hasn't finished a fight in more than four years. Pretty confident there aren't a lot of people out buying a card because Joseph Benavidez is on it. At least Punk is going to draw some PPV buys (which, ironically, puts more money in Joe B's pocket).
*Full disclosure: negative take on Benavidez may or may not be related to jealousy over who he's married to.

Brooks seems like a nice enough guy that I don't want to see him get hurt, but yeah, he really should not be fighting in the UFC.
He is not a very skilled mixed martial artist, putting it quite generously.

Yes Holly x Anderson is a high ranking fight, but the chances of it producing an "oh shit" moment are slim to none. Would rather have main cards filled with high level fights, and "oh shit" moment producers.

I feel his frustration, but he’s been a decisionator lately, and should have lost that Cejudo fight. Pettis is also way too tentative to be relied on (in terms of primetime-worthy viewing). I hope Pettis wins impressively and gets the shot. If not him, then Jussier.

I'd sure as hell would rather watch Anderson vs. Holm. The only UFC event I watched live was 182 DC vs. Gus in Houston. I had to sit through a 15 min. sparring session between him and Ali Baugautinov. We boo'd the shit out of that pitiful performance and then this motherf*cker had the gall to ask the people who paid money to see that shit to stop booing. We just boo'd him even harder. It was literally the best part of the whole event.
