Why hasn't anyone mentioned this?

I've barely seen any threads about Bendo.. I know he's not a very popular guy here on sherdog because of his religion thing but even I, an atheist/agnostic ( + a Diaz fan for life! :P) think that he is still a pretty cool guy and he is an extremely good mixed martial artist and I really can't see anyone else in his division beating him.

Thoughts? :/

I love watching Bendo fight but I think a lot of folks were ready for a change of flavor in the 155 division. Him cramming his religious beliefs down everybodys throats definitely didnt help either.
 
Bendo is my favorite fighter. I hope he is a champion again

He should stay top five?! I remember after he beat Diaz, people were talking about his dominance over the LW divison & wasn't he on the P4P list as well? Anyway, I think he is at Least #2 LW in the UFC
 
You can say what you want about Bendo but the dude came to fight and I don't remember a fight of his that didn't keep me on the edge of my seat.

I hope he can rebound and get some wins under his belt. It's fun watching him compete against the best.

Fighting style is a preference, but this was always a stupid complaint. Yes, Bendo talks about his faith all the time, but post-fight interviews are not a vital part of any fight card. Everybody knew what he would talk about, but rather than turn the channel after the decision was announced, they purposely listened to his every word just so they could complain about it!

A religious person talking about his beliefs in a 1 on 1 interview, where the topic is HIMSELF, is not shoving his beliefs down anyone's throat. I don't tune in to Miley Cyrus interviews and then complain about her being annoying. That would make me the crazy one, not her.

Yep, that's happens. Bendo won and defended a belt in a very stacked division, plus he was champ in the WEC. He has nothing to be ashamed of. Especially considering that nobody else (besides Aldo) can beat Pettis right now.

As I said earlier, Bendo is one of my favorites, but I think Pettis has proven he has him 45/50

How often do people say things that you disagree with on a daily basis? Do you always accuse them of cramming their beliefs or opinions down your throat? Bendo has a right to say whatever he wants if he has the mic. If you don't agree with him or don't like it then so what? Him simply saying a few things after a win isn't cramming anything down anyone's throats. People are too sensitive with it comes to God or religion. If you don't like someone mentioning God, then ignore them, simple.
 
It's just hard to talk about a guy who has gone so long without getting a fight announced.

Wrong.....Melendez is clear cut #2....and arguably beat Ben....Ben is top.5....nothing more and nothing less

Bendo is top five due to the fact that he is number two. Melendez losing to Ben then beating Sanchez does not put him two.

honestly he got some bs decisions. In alot of peoples opinion he lost the title twice. 1 to frankie and the 2nd to gil before pettis took the belt. even pettis thought he lost the gil fight.
