It’s an easy bait. There’s a macabre fascination with celebrities in distress. The same thing happened with Jamie Foxx’s stroke. The amount of energy spent on speculating what was wrong w/ him or people making claims about his medical status was unreal. Must be tough on the family.

That is seriously life altering … as in a massive reduction of both life quality - especially for an athlete - and duration … there are photos of him 2 weeks ago training and seemingly healthy, it’s incredible and terrible how it went from that to needing a transplant to survive in such a short time. Awful.

lung transplant ? wow. i've never heard of that for pneumonia. He may be on an ECMO machine at this time to oxygenate his blood if its that bad and a ventilator isn't able to give him enough oxygen.

even with a successful lung transplant he'd be on immunosuppressive medications the rest of his life. meaning no rolling on mats. And after 5 years a 50% mortality rate.

Like Sean Strickland... He fought vs DDP 2 with Staph. Islam also fought Dustin Poirier with Staph. Belal had a serious Staph and reportedly, when Shavkat beat Ian Garry, he couldn't even do 20 push ups. Chael was saying constantly that the fight vs Jack was weird and he didn't approve as Belal weeks ago still was in need of pain killers to train... And Bella's Staph infection was something serious to the point it was reportedly life threatening at some points

TJ Dillashaw fought with one arm. Bisping fought with one eye. The commissions and referees do not care if fighter are healthy.

No clue. I get he's a public figure but it's odd to me how friends and family keep leaking/hinting vague stuff about his condition publically.

I once had a family member hospitalized with septic shock (thankfully recovered), however I never posted anything to social media during the ordeal about it.

Maybe it's just me but family health stuff seems like something you keep amongst family, unless you specifically need a donation or something.
