What should be done about it, in your opinion? I like the idea of a tournament and I would be down to watch that... but I also like the idea of just having two guys fight for it straight out.

I just watched a couple of Justin Wren's appearances on the JRE and I am a big fan of that guy now. I want to see him do big things in this sport. I'd love to see him in that heavyweight title tournament/fight. What do you guys think?

Coker said that Bellator would be doing a series of fights to determine the new champ. Kinda like a gold rush, I guess? My choices for matches would be:

Cheick Kongo vs Bobby Lashley
Sergei Kharitonov vs Mitrione/Semanutafa winner
Tony Johnson vs Augusto Sakai

In my opinion, a tournament eliminates potential contenders. Only works if the division is almost cleared out or deep.

Justin Wren in a title match......oh no. His last two matches were awful and barely beat any of the cans he faced. He won't make it far.

Really love justin wren and everything hes doing but....no, im fine with having a tourny as long as it doesnt kill off every contender in the divison and im just not quite sure that bellator is deep enough for all that , if you had a four man tourny you could put kongo vs sergei and johnson vs mitrione but then you are left with no logical contender once the tourny is over this is why they shouldnt have got rid of guys like volkov and ivanov, and minakov and all those damn "ovs"!!!!

I thought Minakov was reinstated by Bellator ? I think Lashley should be getting the shot...against who I don't know.
