Why Timothy Johnson rematch against Kongo when they could book Sergey Kharitonov?!
That is because they don't like talented fighters, they should give Andrey Koreshkov.
I understand it's due to TV deals but come on
Johnson gets one back on Kongo this time.
I hope he does. Big Tim isn’t messing around with this comeback lol
Gallon 18-7-2 vs Hooi 16-7 added
Early prelims, I hope. Also, I really hope that is not an official poster.
Lol! It should not be
I think it's a tough road for Tim there. Kongo is a counter-striker at this point, and he just has better clinch and Greco-Roman. He excels against sloopy brawler/grapplers like Johnson, and I don't think Johnson has the strength to power him down or do much. Kongo just outstrikes him at range with punches or kicks all day, and when it goes to the cage, Johnson is the one getting tired first.
He basically has to win in the first round by blitzing Kongo, but he tried that last time and failed horribly.
For all people say about Kongo, his timing is excellent. I don't think Johnson is able to really get inside correctly on him.
Kongo even at 45 is still very relevant at HW. It’s between him and Minakov for best HW in Bellator I feel. They will meet again
I would not be opposed to see Kongo vs Barnett and Bader vs Minakov
Gallon is the dude who got that crazy KO over Ross Pearson, probably why they've picked him up.
You can add Melvin Manhoef vs Simon Biyong
Fun fight, although I would have scheduled this fight for the one of the Milan events, given that Biyong trains out of Genoa, Italy.
Biyong and Landu 2 Rizin vets.
Like The Biyong vs Melvin fight
Yes, a win over Manhoef can put him right there in Bellator's LHW division. There arent a lot of talented LHW, and I think Biyong is at least pretty decent.
