He is definitely interesting to us. We talked several times, but I'm not sure yet that he is ready to come to the US and fight. If you see it he was great last month in Japan, has been impressive. We will continue to talk and see how things go. Sometimes you just need a longer time to reach an agreement, we will see.

    Worlds fastest leg kick tko?

They should feed Kimbo a guy he could possibly beat for his first fight. Zwicker, Thompson, Burns, Lashley, Wessel, Rossborough, or Butler would be decent options.

Can Kimbo stand and bang with Cro Cop?

    I don't think so.

Definitely not, Kimbo got chopped down with legs kicks from Houston and Mitrione. Imagine would would happen if Cro Cop landed 3 or 4 solid legs kicks on him.

    Really, really weak.. IMO.

    MMA is losing steam.

CC seems to sigh better outside of the U.S, he should finish over there. How on Earth could CC be a big deal (or any deal) after his UFC run?? I guess we need a new Japanes major org really quick to create some more 'names' that are so incomparable they retain value in the sport after embarrassing 10 fight 6 year periods.

And Kimbo is worse than that, with respect to him having the courage to be a fighter.

it's time for a Kimbo and Houston Alexander rematch. Houston is looking horrible in bellator, and I'm sure Kimbo hasn't improved.

They both need an opponent they can beat. CroCop can mostly take on anybody but Kimbo needs a weak sprawl-and-brawl fighter.

Cro Cop looked like shit against Ishii. He telegraphed his leg kick and it was slow as hell. He still beat Ishii but it was more sad than impressive.

I would rather they brought Ishii over and forced him to up his training.

Cro Cop is better off coming in to job out to the next generation. Although I wouldn't mind seeing him rematch Kongo. That first fight was total bullshit.

Kimbo and Mirko are best kept apart and to give the rub to fighters that may actually go somewhere.

I'd watch Cro Cop take on Lavar or Peter Graham.

Lavar has lost 5 of his last 6 fights, mostly by finishes.

I don't think Graham is in Bellator anymore? He looked really bad the last time I saw him against Kongo, gassing out and what not I figured he would have owned him standing. After he was subbed by Mighty Mo of all people, I gave up on him.

for enough cash maybe he would come back.. but I heard he doesn't need to fight because he owns a chain of ice cream stores in Florida or something like that.

    Why not.

Dont know why people are getting so mad at Bellator, this is what Viacom needs. Halsey and Newton and Pitbull arent stars that draw huge ratings, sell tickets, generate interest.

Viacom isnt ok with Bellator being week to week of small casino shows and 700k viewers and just existing and not going anywhere. Thats what they were under Bjorn.

Now they want ratings, they want names, good or bad thats what they are doing and if it gets people watching to see the real talent on the roster thats a good thing. Its better than putting the good talent at the top and nobody watches and you dont make money and go under.

I'm ok with this approach as long as they don't forget about guys like Will Brooks. He already wasn't happy with Bellator pretending he doesn't have a belt and playing co-main to Tito/Bonnar, so I'm assuming he wouldn't be happy at all being hind tit to Kimbo Slice.

This isn't really my opinion of the ideal way to create an MMA org, but I understand why they do it. And as long as their legitimate talents are either respected or let go, I'll support it.

I agree, do I want to watch Kimbo vs Pudz instead of Will Brooks vs Chandler or Pitbull/Straus or Minakov/Vokov?

Of course not but this is what they have to do to make money and survive. Honestly if Viacom didnt own them they probably would have been kicked to the curb like TNA was, if Bjorn owned them and VIacom couldnt push him out and he wouldnt change they would be gone.

Once Viacom saw numbers TIto did they want every single name they can get from 05-2010. Anyway, I'll bet they are trying to talk Randy into coming back.

They want Fedor, Cro Cop, Kimbo, Tito, these are the guys that generate interest and get ratings.
