Bellator Tourney brackets are kinda garbage

Sonnen/Rampage was a flop, and the Nelson/Mitrione rematch should materialize naturally imo. Strange fight to make and i think stylistically this bracket produces the best matches with all combos of winners and losers

Brackets could have been better for sure. But we also have no clue when each was available. Isn't the best case. But if they end up with Chael vs Fedor, Bellator will be thrilled.

Brackets ain't that good but I actually really enjoyed Sonnen/Rampage lol. Sonnen won in a way that I wouldn't have thought possible. Basically I thought Sonnen could beat Page and Fedor and that's it in this tourney and he has a chance to face both to the finals if Fedor can beat Mir. That's super interesting to me, guy is a natural middleweight and has done terrible at LHW so doing well at HW is quite a bit surprising.

So doing Sonnen/Page you are guaranteed one of the big name LHW.

Nelson/Meathead, you get one of the real HW in there.

Fedor/Mir gives you one of the big name HW

Bader/Mo gives you one of the top LHW they have.

Roy would have outwrestled Page in the most boring decision ever, but at least they would have traded for like 30 seconds which would have been better than whatever Sonnen/Page was.
Im scared for this Mittrione/Nelson fight, i feel Matt is gonna run the entire fight and the arena is just gonna boo nonstop.

I like the matchups..
Rampage and Chael are the two biggest talkers in the tourney along with maybe King Mo so that was kind of expected.
Fedor vs Mir has been a dream fight for the last 10 years or so and it finally gets to happen.
Bader vs Mo is pretty much a LHW title fight in many eyes as they were expected to fight before but it fell through.
Matt vs Nelson gives Matt who is arguably the #1 HW in Bellator a chance to avenge a loss against someone on the roster.

The only other matchups I would've had instead are maybe
Rampage vs Fedor
Chael vs Mo
Matt vs Mir
Nelson vs Bader
