Bellator sign Croatian fighter Marko Damian with 0/1score

probably an incentive for another fighter to sign. They did the same thing with some UK guys for kongo
 
he's one of those guys brought in to lose obvious mismatches at Xplode... eeek... he must be fighting for about $250
 
I'm assuming he's prelim fodder. Not the first time Bellator had an 0-1 fighter on the prelims.

That or Bellator had to sign him so that they could get another fighter from Blackhouse.
 
i wonder if this will backfire like a lot of their attempts to push someone, this dude lands a devastating KO on someone they've been marketing.
 
IDK just about everyone Bellator has signed since Coker took over just makes 0 sense. Hell he let go of a lot of good fighters just so he could bring in a bunch of washed up UFC fighters and unknown fighters with bad win/loss records. WTF is going on with Coker's Bellator?:rolleyes:

Take it easy, we don't even know anything about this guy yet. He could be a good prospect if he gets a chance.
 
Bellator couldn't get Cro Cop, so they got Croatia's second best fighter.

What about Mato Perak, Ante Delija and my favorite - Dorian Ilic? They are all better that Cro Cop now.

BTW I'm MMA fan from Croatia and I newer heard for Marko Damian :icon_chee !
 
Smart move, now its time for the UFC to look for a replacement for CM Punk
 
I long ago stopped trying to make sense why some guys get signed and some guys don't.
 
if he's the same guy that in other sites is named "Marko 'Mad Dog' Damiani", he's a muay thai Kombat League veteran in some italian circuits and MT scholar of Aldo Chiari and Branko Cikatic.

He should had won a title in Phuket too.

Depending on the weight division, he could be another fighter to make a good standup battle with Joe Schilling or Manhoef.
EDIT: I c now that he's a LW ... mah, dunno how they'll use him

His record doesn't show him as a fighter picked from the Croatian scene, his one fight is listed in southern California. It's not like they went to Croatia to find this guy.
 
Most likely Joey Beltran or James Irvins next Bellator main card opponent . Yeah there's big things going on over there at Bellator.

He is from Poreč ,Croatia went to USA few years ago
 
Damn.. Boxandjizz got banned again.

His record is almost prelim fodder for Bellator.
Isn't he at least 0-2 by now?
