who the hell has paramount network though cable is so expensive

They are new to MMA. They are not journeyman, contenders, gate keepers, or champions.

Dunno man, when I hear "prospects" I see fighters that clearly show great potential. Not every new guy in MMA should be considered a prospect.

Also, if they're just signed in Bellator without any particular reason - how does it make Bellator different from regional orgs in this regard?
At least when UFC signs fighters like these - CM Punk, Mickey Gall - there is some marketing reasoning behind it.

Fair enough. They are rookies in the MMA game which would be a more fitting definition for them but the normal description of rankings like this are prospect, journeyman, gate keeper, contender, champion.

i question the "good" BW is being abandoned seemingly FW and LW seem like they are next, going back at least a decade to old ufc model i guess

also missing everett cummings at HW for prospect

This really puts things into perspective. Bellator really has more talent right now than I really understood. That's a solid roster. I may dare say, from top to bottom, better than Strikeforce's...

Thank God no Flyweights and WMMA.

I am not much of a fan of the FLW division or WMMA either. I also like less weight classes so talent is not cut so thin. I think the rules would be better with 20 lbs between each division like the division between MW and LHW. I would like to see:

125 & Under: FLW
145: FW
165: LW
185: MW
205: LHW
265: HW
Above 265: Super HW

You are right TS, Bellator's roster is looking good. It puzzles me why they are not doing much better rankings-wise. We are living in the era of the casuals.

I was a bit surprised to see it laid out as well.

Yeah, some of their ratings aren't that good. I think some of their HW GP and WW GP ratings will be good. We will see how things go with DAZN and Paramount and CMT going into 2019. I hope to see some improvements.

Awesome. We need to support bellator, they are making a great effort and deserve our viewership at the very least.

Like I said before I might give up one of my subscription services and get dazn after the first free month if I like it.

Thanks. I plan on ordering DAZN for the months when Bellator is on and then cancelling. That way it is about $60 for the year rather than $110. They are putting big cards on DAZN and I don't want to miss those.

Things are getting very interesting in Bellator for sure! Tbh I'm looking forward to the next few Bellator cards more than the Ufc's.

I feel the same way about the upcoming events. On paper I am more excited about them.

Dunno what the source of info that Sidelnikov is signed but during broadcast of the event where Viktor Nemkov's last fight happened commentators anounced that he (Viktor) is signed with Bellator.

Fernando Gonzales and Brennan Ward deserve mentions in the WW section.

It almost rivals UFC's WW roster.
