Not only did Fox Sports 1 air a commercial for the Bellator PPV during a UFC event, but they're still promoting the Alvarez trilogy in the commercial as if Eddie was never injured. Cluster fuck!

Anyone else see that?

They may actually sell some PPVs if they trick people into thinking Alvarez is still fighting
 
What are you confused about?

that Spike/Bellator buys ad time during popular sports or that they are still running a commercial for the old fight?

Commercial cant be changed a day and UFC runs ads on Spike all the time.
 
Its FOX, Zuffa has no control over them at all..in fact its the other way around. Bellator paid the big bucks for the spot...Fox wont turn away the money.
 
Who cares, bellator is creeping on UFC. Gotta have respect for a tourney for title shots.
 
Bellator purchased the commercial time through a third party which is common practice
FS1 had nothing to do with actually putting Bellators commercial in that slot they just sold the time to a random advertising company

Its impossible to change the commercial once its been sent which Im sure happened a while ago so Alvarez being in the commercial is not some shady shenanigans
