Bellator needs to bring it.
so... basically the number of events they were doing pre-coker?
what a joke.
The name 'Bellator' needs to go.
Get rid of lighter weight classes too, it should be 155 and above. No women.
Use OneFC rules whenever possible (when A.C. allows it... unlikely)
More English-speaking fighters, less russian\brazilians.
I think i'd rather see the number sit around 16 instead of 24 for 2016 then in 2017 expand once they get some of their stars in place.
lol honestly if you do the math it's probably still less.
Coker has mentioned doing the Daley/Koscheck fight in London for a tentpole around Summer 2016.
Could be a great card!

Who cares about a name? When I see a name complaint I just figure someone has hatred towards the company.
Also terrible idea, their 145lb division is awesome.
They could ditch 135lbs, but they don't really have many fights in that fight class anyways and the ones they do have are pretty good.
Gonna have to beef up the roster if they want to do that many events and tentpole events.
One advantage Bellator has is shitty prelims. They dont have to really put big fights on prelims to fill cards top to bottom, just need 4-5 fights per card.
So they probably can fill out 24 events, the problem is gonna be tentpole event main events.
Tito, Kimbo, Lashley I guess will be main eventing these shows, Coker had a deal for Tito vs Frank but Tito turned it down so could mean Frank comes back.
We all know Coker would do Ken vs Frank in San Jose as a tentpole main event.
Spike can follow HBO and change Bellators name to Spike TV Presents:World Championship MMA
that's a lot of events for bellator. they are going to need to sign more talent. would like to see them do some brazil shows too with pitbull.
Spike MMA is what it should be called.
Maybe they could bring in Shlemenko for those international shows. Finally do some stuff with that MW division, put Storm in against Halsey/Carvalho winner or against Beltran/Grove winner in a title eliminator. I'm one of the 3 Shlemenko fans who want to see him fight Halsey again, would be some good build-up."Halsey, I kill you.".
Overall, I'm pretty excited for what Bellator has to bring next year.
Havent really seen you post. Are u the one who talks shit about everything mma?
bellator went through a reconstruction phase. the fact that that are moving from 16 to 24 events shows growth and commitment.. more tenpoles and starting to do international events. that is a great sign...
I feel like bellator is really looking into buying more talent to fill out these cards. The fact that they will have more shows means that they wont go a month without a show. Hopefully this helps them stay fresh in peoples minds. Sometimes, people forget that bellator is on.
my god the promo for that ken vs frank fight is gonna be so forced and horrible. honestly i never want to see ken fight again after that bullshit kimbo fight
I honestly hate the idea of more. They have had huge struggles this year putting on shows every other month or so. And that's rarely having any good prelims and generally having four fights. They have a better roster than they seem to show.
Hopefully they can get some talent. But I've never heard a non-UFC promotion come out with a number like this and actually do it. Remember when OneFC was supposed to be doing a billion shows? We shall see.
I just don't like the idea. They have what 15 shows this year? And it's been a struggle.
bwahhahahah. Will Coker have em sit down for another face-to-face interview ala Kimbo/Ken?
If so it could get ugly fast.
Absolutely none of those things are going to happen and it's beyond preposterous to expect it, ask for it or even think of it as feasible.
