Eh maybe not 40 but he's got what, 10 or so between shorts shirt and banner? I'm going to take a stab with 25.

Sounds more reasonable, maybe even 20. Ill keep an eye for his sponsors next fight.

@Hellowhosthat Did you see any of the open workout? I just saw short clips, but I thought Corey looked nice on the pads. Bader seemed a bit stiff and slow to me.

No, but I don't tend to put any stock into those personally.

How a fighter looks at open workout? I think those can be a good indication sometimes. But I get what you mean, I don’t put much stock into how fighters look at weigh ins.

Goddamn, I didn’t realize there was that big of a size difference. Should be interesting.

Coker is such a nice guy. I really think fighters geniuenly like him, he just needs to be more outspoken about his product.

BTW, the whole interview is pretty good, he mentions Horiguchi will be fighting in the US before the end of the year in a "big fight".

He looks very good but he plays a bit safe sometimes. He hasn't fought anyone near the level of Nemkov.

I’m guessing it’s Horiguchi vs Pettis. On the topic of Coker, I’ve heard stories about Coker having to put his foot down behind the scenes sometimes and getting upset with his team and certain fighters. But he never shows it publicly and that’s the consummate professional imo. The only time I’ve seen him crack a little is when Jiri played them. I know he was fucking pissed about that one. He stepped out of character for a little during that situation.

Yeah, I remember the whole Jiri debacle; Coker sounded pretty salty about it. I agree, that is the only time I have heard him talk ill of a fighter. I wonder what happened that made Coker snap.

Should swap Corrales/Parubchenko with either of the last two fights on the prelims, but sensible card order otherwise.

They like Corrales. He has a reputation as an action fighter that doesn't always bare in out in the cage. I actually think this is one of the better card orders I've seen from Bellator who have head scratchers regularly.

I feel like they are also trying to build up Parubchenko. No idea if the last loss was due to the long layoff or what, but this will be his chance to show he is legit.

I'm not convinced Parubchenko is that good. I do believe that John De Jesus is better then his spotty record might tell you, but he's not a world beater and Parubchenko got beaten cleanly by him while not showing much in the process.

He does have a win over Sergey Morozov, although it was only Morozov's third pro fight.
