It's just an entertaining fact.

I know Eddie was finished by Cowboy out of all so some might give him a pass, but Lombard's was against a bum, ok not bum, but a complete can by UFC standards that should have been a stepping stone to hype him to the UFC viewers. yet, he lost.

Don't give me that prime excuse, Real deal was coming off a win over a fresh prospect. and he's not old.

considering Vitaly Minakov needed 5 groin shots to squeeze out a decision against a "dead horse" in Kongo, dont see him doing too well either.

I see Ill Will making the top 5 in less than two years, Even in the most stacked division in LW. With all these injuries and LWs escaping down to FW(eg: Shelftime and Juryduty), Will might even be in a title eliminator next year lol.

no, not even close

alvarez fought cerrone, brooks fought a mid tier fighter. and "finished?", it was 2-1 in scoring. his legs were beaten up, but that was it

Not even close? Your exaggerating now. Eddie fought a top LW and lost convincingly and rather easily. Brooks fought a mid tier and won. So I say it balances out.

Cerrone could never finish Eddie he only finishes cans.

Eddie wasn't finished by Cowboy. You have no credibility.

Eddie was underwhelming in his first few fights, and I love Eddie. Brooks had the better debut. Looking forward to both of their fights in the future.

Eddie got thrown straight to the wolves. Lets see how brooks does against top 5 competition.

Brooks fought a journeyman who has never cracked the top 15. Alvarez got Cerrone in the middle of his 8 fight hot streak. No comparison.

Lombard was always overrated. Eddie wasn't.

Strange that everyone doubts Alvarez still, even though the guy takes on all comers and beats most of them. I mean, he fights Cerrone, Melendez, Pettis and RDA in his first four UFC fights, comes out 3-1 in those, and people still say he's not elite? I don't get it.

Brooks had 2 weeks to train. He did fine, considering he played Ross' game and still won. Plus he got the UFC jitters out. Wait till he gets a 10 week camp.

I thought Brooks lost the fight... so there's that

Eddie won a round on Cowboy and Cowboy is light years above Pearson. I guess will see who Wil gets next because it's anything like Eddies path you can expect someone like Pettis or Barboza.
