Thought i'd look back at Bellator's champions a couple of year's ago.

So, are the champions stronger now or in 2012?

KOngo took Minakov down, you bet your ass Konrad would have easily take him down.

Lombard vacated as did Askren. Askren dominated Lima and Lombard clearly beat Schlemenko. Newton is way better than M'Pumbu. Konrad also vacated his belt so he was never dethroned. GSP situations are much more common in Bellator.

Unfortunately all that experience didn't help him beat Tito Ortiz.

Even so.. cant discount Minakov's judo and striking

conrad would wreck minakov. imo cole konrad was only bellator HW who had a shot at top 5 UFC HW's. dude was a beast with legit wrestling and a threat to any HW anywhere. wish he wouldnt have given it up

Right that was the original intention.

Because it's often the Co-Main event that os the largest picture on the poster with the match listed in the headline.
