Bellator can't get a break

They desperately need MVP to win this tournament and stay loyal to them. He's their last chance at a big homegrown star.

If people like to compare to him Conor than they should know Conor did lose a couple fights before become a huge mma star.
True but usually when you see a young talent, at least for me, they stick out when you watch them fight. I remember seeing Jones in his UFC debut being young and fresh trying to throw flashy shit but sticking to sambo wrestling to win. He looked very good for how long he's been fighting but I don't see that with a lot of Bellator fighters atm aside from Pico.

They put on great fights and that is all that matters. As an adult, I dont need "stars" to follow. Just want to see the best fighters compete.

Why care if stars are "homegrown" rory, moose, bader are all exceptional fighters and great champions to promote.

It’s bellator. They’ll continue with him as if nothing ever happened like they have every single time one of their hype trains got derailed.

RIP Bandejas though. In continuing with bellator tradition he’ll either be banished to the prelims or fed to one of their top guys.

good news is nobody watched the event as it only had 319k viewers.

MVP? Pico? Pico lost his first fight, still I am always pumbed as hell to see him fight now. Same with MVP.
Only problem I have with MVP is they're bringing him along too slowly. No denying he's legit though.

Pico will be scary as hell in a couple years, and he's already solid.

Gallagher was never one of their better prospects. He was an European bjj specialist, name all of them that turned into stars?

Pico, Claxton, McKee, Tyrell and on are their real future stars.

Shit Banderas might be the prospect people were hoping Gallagher would be.

Well it stopped now. MVP will have his hands full in the tournament. Can't wait to see how this one plays out. Especially when he faces a decent wrestler.
