Bellator Cancels Next 3 Events

UFC should have paid those fighters for London card, they made them travel during fight week. Bellator was different though, they made fighters come there, weigh in and cancelled the event the day of. maybe their contracts say they dont have to pay them even if they weigh in but you had to pay them something after making them weigh in. Now they paid full purses which makes them look good and is right thing to do. Also it was strategic cause they knew they didnt have another event for two months, they got lucky this happened during a time they were taking a break. So paying out full gave them some good PR.

But yeah now we'll see if they separate themselves from UFC and boxing who aint paying for cards that get pushed. If they do they'll look really good to media and to fighters. If they dont they'll be just like everyone else.

Bellator had no option other than paying them (show money at least), but the UFC has some clause that if a fight gets rescheduled within some weeks they dont pay the fighters as if a fight gets cancelled on late notice, this happened on Borg vs DJ fight iirc, not sure how is the UFC going around those events this time, as they have said "everyone will fight", but the signs for now indicate that there will be no fights for a while.

Certainly doubt Bellator is paying the guys on this cards tho, events are more than a month away.

looks like they paid the fighters for that London card.
