Is that good?
No surprise. Card was trash and marketing was poor. Bellator needs to do better. No excuses, it just has to be better.
Bellator lost part of its public perception with Bellator 149. Same thing happened with RIZIN in the West after Garcia vs Hotta, but that is expected with Japan.Bellator had some momentum years ago signing fighters, getting some decent ratings with Kimbo and others but man they've fallen off a cliff in last few years.

You have a point, Bellator 149 averaged 2.5 million viewers. That amount doubles the combined viewership of Bellator's 2020 schedule (3 events) so far. That was their best year....
Sounds like they need to go back to putting circus fights on

They should sign that Paul Logan guy for an mma fight against CM Punk
The build up that Bellator did for Kimbo Slice vs Dada 5000 was big. Bellator decision makers went out and advertised that Bellator 149 card big time and haven't built up any Bellator fight card like that since. The matchup was also intriguing. Bellator had a chance for that type of build up with Paul Daley vs MVP, but failed by epic proportions by having the fight card in Connecticut and not in England and by not having it on Paramount and having no real build up. Bellator had a chance when Minakov returned to Bellator. But missed a golden opportunity to build up the undefeated returning Bellator Heavyweight Champion to take on the new Bellator Heavyweight Champion and Bellator Heavyweight Tournament winner. Bellator simply needs to stop missing great opportunities to do it Big.
