  • Steve Mowry vs. Gokhan Saricam
  • Tim Caron vs. Lucas Pimenta Borges
  • Brandon Medina vs. Brandon Santiago
  • Jessy Miele vs. Talita Nogueira
  • Dalton Rosta vs. Ahmed Samir Hefny
  • Rebecca Bryggman vs. Elise Reed
 
So the female with a porn past and maybe present, Rebecca Bryggman, will be on a Bellator card. Someone created a forum about her history on Sherdog. Cool she isn't going to let porn define her or idiots, who have nothing to do with her journey in life. Best of luck to her. Her opponent, Elise Reed, was 7-1 as a Amateur.
 
Remember how bad Mur vs. Nelson was? Now they're 8 years older.
 
Apparently, Ngannou got his ass whooped by Nelson, Mir is screwed.

 
A lightweight bout between Mandel Nallo and Killys Mota is the latest addition to Bellator 231.


MMA Junkie on Friday confirmed the matchup between Nallo (7-0 MMA, 2-0 BMMA) and Mota (11-1 MMA, 0-0 BMMA) with a Bellator official.

Bellator 231 takes place Oct. 25 at Mohegan Sun Arena in Uncasville, Conn.
 
Bit disappointing for me. Davis and Albrektsson is a great fight, although I've never been excited about a Phil Davis fight before. I have zero interest in the main event or Bec Rawlins fight. I'm really interest in any Swagger fight and Jason Jackson Vs Ed Ruth is fantastic.

I'd have reshuffled this to:-
  • Phil Davis vs. Karl Albrektsson
  • Jason Jackson vs. Ed Ruth
  • Frank Mir vs. Roy Nelson
  • Jake Hager vs. Anthony Garrett
  • Bec Rawlings vs. Ilara Joanne
 
I like two fights on the main card but they are surrounded by A Bec Rawlings main card fight(LOL) WWE guy versus another HW can and Mir vs Fat Nasty in 2019. The rematch to the sloppy one-sided fight from nearly a decade ago that no one asked for. I think I'll pass on this one.

I understand why the UFC has watered down cards since they put on so many and why their cards sometimes have 3 WMMA fights on them(they have 4 WMMA divisions) why are more Bellator cards looking like this though?

And on top of that, Mir flat out said that the way to beat Nelson is by fighting a boring fight and that he didn't want to fight him because of that. Mir's gameplan will revolve around him trying to be as boring as possible, not for the sake of being boring itself but the end result is the same.

This is yet another Nelson fight in which it either ends in one minute or goes the distance in a boring fight. Neither are really what you want to see in a main event.
 
can't believe there are promoters who still think Bec is a draw.
