UFC 222 we jsut saw:

Women's Featherweight Cris Cyborg (c) def. Yana Kunitskaya TKO (punches) 1 3:25 [a]
Featherweight Brian Ortega def. Frankie Edgar KO (punch) 1 4:44
Bantamweight Sean O’Malley def. Andre Soukhamthath Decision (unanimous) (29-27, 29-27, 29-28) 3 5:00
Heavyweight Andrei Arlovski def. Stefan Struve Decision (unanimous) (29-28, 29-28, 30-27) 3 5:00
Women's Bantamweight Ketlen Vieira def. Cat Zingano Decision (split) (28-29, 29-28, 29-28) 3 5:00

Now, Bellator 200:

Middleweight Rafael Carvalho (c) vs. Gegard Mousasi [a]
Heavyweight Mirko Cro Cop vs. Roy Nelson
Welterweight Michael Page vs. David Rickels
Light Heavyweight Phil Davis vs. Linton Vassell

until now !

Roy vs Rampgae seemed like the fight to make. Roy vs CroCop as pointless a rematch as Manuwa/Blachowicz

why pico isnt fighting at bellator 200?

Cro Cop had such a nice win streak going and then he retired, it was perfect. He just can't call it a day.

Crocrop vs Roy sounds cool.

Would've been crazy to see Crocrop vs Rampage

Bellator 200 is already a better card. but it should be. it's their 200th event. now try to compare to UFC 200. that might be a more accurate comparison.

UFC 200:

Amanda Nunes def. Miesha Tate via submission (rear naked choke) Rd. 1
Brock Lesnar def. Mark Hunt via decision*
Daniel Cormier def. Anderson Silva via decision
Jose Aldo def. Frankie Edgar via decision
Cain Velasquez def. Travis Browne via KO (kick and punches) Rd. 1

Bellator 200 vs UFC 222 is only slightly less lopsided than the Cyborg "fight"

Hopefully Bellator delivers the way UFC 222 did.

We got the Lombard controversy and the Frankie Edgar KO. As well as a special nod to O'Malley breaking his leg and still getting the decision win.

Bellator >>>>>>>>> UFC

It's really sad for me to see Bellator completely and utterly fail to capitalize on the generally awful UFC product lately. Instead, they're still insisting on having squash fights like Saturday morning pro rasslin' back in the day, and hiring every washed up has-been they can.

Sounds like a good card but Bellators problem is the unwatchable prelim fights where the level is so low that its not watchable. Bellator needs to keep signing those big names but also find young talent that will build the fanbase, they have started to build some but its not enough yet.
