Bellator 159 Averages 668k Viewers on Spike

Not bad considering it wasn't some big name on it
Looks like Bellator is stucked in the 600k limit

Better than some of these tentpoles. Idk what is up with the ratings. Rampage fights doing horrible, while smaller fighters doing better.

Glad to see some of bellators real talent draw decent ratings tho.

I think the message for Bellator here should be stop signing all these guys who are costing you a fortune and not bringing much to the table. Focus on signing unknown talent and building stars.

U have a point. Although we don't know what is truly going on behind closed doors. For all we know, the gates from the tentpoles could be making up aloT for some of these lack luster ratings.

I just really hope bellator ups the advertising once their wrestlers start debuting.. It kind of makes sense that they aren't promoting heavily considering they are still going through roster purges. A lot of the cuts don't make sense, but we are on the outside looking in.

The London show peak at 941,000 viewers.

Bellator 159 was the number 1 cable tv sports show of the night.

the thing is easy...they want to sell Bellator so the idea is keeping a float the boat by now, cutting cost (all people fired) , setting mismatches for drawing fighters (Michael Page matchmaking) and hiring future prospects (those NCAA wrestlers) for selling as a brand with huge future...so, for what the promotion??...the future owner will do it

Basically what Bellator averages. At this point dont really know what they can do to bring the ratings up consistently. UFC signings they've made havent done it and other than the few Kimbo shows they've seen no ratings growth.

Actually gone down since that first Spike season.

Pretty good rating for that card

Why do you think they want to sell it?

Glory was also on same time

of course, Spike is in a lot of less homes now (at least in basic package)

Why do you think they want to sell it?
the signals...and of course, Viacom has troubles and probably will restructure.

Horrible production values need to go.

Bellator 159 +3 DVR Ratings: Averaged 709,000 viewers and peaked with 1,015,000 viewers

+3 will always be cheap fluff imo, but at least people are interested enough to dvr it.

I think they should build their stars and hype them a little more. Enough with the UFC rejects.

They have a couple of guys that made their whole career in Bellator. Jenkins, Chandler, the Pitbull bros, McGeary, Halsey, Honeycutt, Ward, Koreshov.. they should stick with them.

I hope these new wrasslers they are bringing can make some noise.. at least one or two of them.
